Experience matters. Conservative principles matter. And being unafraid to ask questions no one else will matters, too.
Over the last few months, I have made it my job to know what’s happening across the state. When I find an issue that needs more answers, I have then asked staff and department heads to give me answers so I can pass the information along to you and others.
For example, when I heard that Governor Pritzker was sending $160 million of your state taxes to Chicago to support illegal aliens, I asked staff for a full listing of how much we spent or were budgeting to spend. That number was over $708 million. That number was not known publicly until I posted it in a press release.
I’ve also made sure our conservative positions have been heard in important hearings, most recently in the Illinois State Police hearings on the gun registration law. My comments were picked up by statewide media, so others can hear our concerns about the issue.
I am thankful the media is paying attention to statements and arguments I have been making over the last few months and I will continue to get information to voters in every way possible.
Below you will find several articles and interviews where my work is highlighted. Bringing conservative policy to this state begins by pointing out the malfeasance of Democrat party policies and bringing another perspective to the public.
Please help me continue to do this important work by supporting my campaign and passing along my emails to friends and family. An informed citizenry is the first step in keeping our liberties.

Christmas 2023
I'm taking the fight to the Chicago Democrats, the ones that threaten life as we know it. They want to tax us out of our homes, indoctrinate our children with radical, leftist, Marxist ideals, take away our ability to defend ourselves and the list goes on and on.
To stand up against this evil I need you to stand with me. Please plan to attend my annual Christmas dinner on Monday the 11th @6:00p.
Annie Frey is a delightful and well spoken conservative talk show personality from St. Louis, you will not want to miss this event.

Illinois Republicans criticize Chicago mayor's rhetoric over border crisis
- 3 hrs ago
Illinois state Rep. Brad Halbrook, R-Shelbyville, said Johnson should not be taken seriously.
"Mayor Johnson is a clown. He is not a serious person, and he does not deserve a response to his inane babbling," Halbrook said in a statement. "He was elected thanks to the massive financial backing of the very public sector union leadership that has made Chicago's finances a complete disaster. If Mayor Johnson is the answer, it must have been an extremely stupid question."
