Nearly two-thirds of states are either expanding or adding new educational choice programs, giving families more options to decide what’s best for their children. However, Illinois is heading in the opposite direction, as it has already sunset its educational choice initiatives. Why Illinois is stepping back while other states are moving forward. Illinois is ramping up K-12 funding for public education at a record pace all the while the outcomes are going in the opposite direction.
